MAP HISTORY
Welcome to Streetdirectory.com Map History Guide. In this section, we bring you back to the time when our maps were first released to the public and show how they have evolved over the years. The maps can be broken into 3 different time zones:
1998 Maps
1998 pre-launch Maps of Singapore
The first ever Streetdirectory.com Maps made in 1998. Then it was published and known as virtual maps among close friends and community.

1999 Maps
These maps was first released to the public in 1999. The original maps were blue-based and due to public feedback (many prefer green-based maps), the background colour was changed to green.

 Due to feedback from users, the second version Maps released later in 1999 were changed from blue-based maps to green-based maps. Since then Streetdirectory.com have been using green-based maps till today with different variations and changes to the green tones and outlines.

2000 Onwards

The earlier Maps from 1999 are constantly edited and modified to suit present times.

Since then, we have been updating the maps frequently and many different versions have evolved over the years. The latest maps, from 2005 onwards, were made from Satellite images.
